Apple Quartz Composer Photo Surface Prototype: While investigating on the potential of the Apple Quartz Composer tool for our needs we develop a sort of re-implementation of the Microsoft Surface photo browsing demo with this gorgeous tool.
Apple QCV Surface Prototype with Wii Remote on Video Wall: Stanford University asked us to extend the Quartz Composer “Surface” composition above distributing the composition on a cluster of 3 Mac Pro and adding support for the Nintendo Wii Remote for “remote multi touch”!. This new sample is actually considered as a learning instrument at the Stanford School of Medicine in the USA across a display wall (3x3 30" Cinema Displays, 9 total screens) using QCV for use with high resolution medical imagery.
iPhone Secure Video Streaming Prototype: Since we focused on developing a Mobile Video Advertising solution we strongly considered Apple iPhone / iPod touch devices as the first platform where to deliver our solution. Working on a series of proof of concept we discover an interesting way to secure streaming video content on this platform using standard iPhone SDK tools (no jailbrake required). This technique could be used as a Conditional Access (CA) solution for the iPhone of course even in a non Ad-Supported model (PPV, Subscription etc.). [come back later for full article and sample]
PodCast Advertising Standard Schema: One of the cool feature of our patent pending solution is the it is totally transport independent (Unicast, Multicast, Broadcast, P2P, PodCast etc.). With Starlight we are developing a Video Advertisement insertion and verification solution and we’d like to extend the Apple PodCast standard schema in order to describe video contents and their inline advertisements. We’d like to use this AdPodCast schema as the standard description for contents and their inline advertising in any transport case. [come back later for full article and sample]
